Here is my theory on punk:

I believe punk is being your own person, different from the rest, sticking with what you believe in no matter what anyone says, not hating anyone for outter issues, not enjoying authority or rules, getting hated but never letting your beliefs waver, and doing what you can to have a positive outcome. In other words, killing someone is not punk. Going to support your local punk scene is positive, it helps the artists, and they're generally really good.

Be creative, and original. Make your own patches rather than buying them. Don't do the safety pin thing for image, it's been done. I mean if something you're wearing breaks and you need something to hold it together, then sure use it.

Image is not part of punk.
